What APAC is signalling: Taiwan and Japan

Editorial graphic — not a project photograph: Taipei and Nagasaki

In Taipei, Asia Offshore Wind Day discussion centred on Taiwan's offshore project pipeline and supply-chain requirements. Taiwan already has operating offshore wind farms, so it needs both new-build and maintenance capability.

In Nagasaki, the Global Offshore Wind Summit Japan focused on project delivery challenges and partnerships. Japan's offshore sector is earlier in its development than Taiwan's.

Events do not create jobs on their own, but they show where developers and contractors are focusing — useful early signals for technicians thinking about future markets.
